National Collegiate Rugby (NCR) has named 1,148 student-athletes as 2025–26 Scholastic All-Americans. This year's honorees include 473 women and 675 men representing 152 institutions across the country.
The Scholastic All-American program annually recognizes student-athletes who excel both on the field and in the classroom. To qualify, athletes must maintain a 3.5 GPA or higher for the academic year and be rostered for at least 50% of the A-side matches during either the Fall 15s or Spring 7s seasons. Representing roughly 1 in 20 college rugby players, this group reflects the academic dedication and athletic commitment that define collegiate rugby at its best.
Leading the men's division, the University of South Carolina produced an impressive 34 Scholastic All-Americans. Following close behind were Brown University with 25 recipients and the University of Denver and Colby College, each with 20. In the women's division, Northeastern University distinguished itself with 19 honorees, while the University of Virginia celebrated 17 and both Salve Regina University and Colby College honored 15.
NCR CEO Jeremy Treece shared his congratulations, “We are proud to recognize such an outstanding group of student-athletes this year. These young leaders continue to elevate the standard of collegiate rugby through their commitment to academic and athletic excellence. Congratulations to each of them on this well-earned honor.”
