National Collegiate Rugby (NCR) is excited to announce Rugby Travel Ireland as its official international travel partner. This strategic partnership will span the next three years, providing NCR teams with enhanced opportunities for international tours, cultural exchange, and global competition.

Rugby Travel Ireland, a renowned specialist in rugby travel and tour logistics, brings a wealth of experience in organizing world-class rugby experiences. The partnership is already in full swing, as Rugby Travel Ireland has successfully coordinated staff travel for the NCR Griffin’s upcoming trip to Algarve, Portugal. Rugby Travel Ireland will also serve as the official tour sponsor for the Ballynahinch RFC squad’s upcoming visit to Boston this June, where they’ll face off against the NCR All Americans in a high-profile domestic fixture. More details to come soon.

Wade Smith, Chief Operating Officer at NCR, shared his enthusiasm about the collaboration, “This partnership with Rugby Travel Ireland marks an exciting new chapter for NCR. Rugby Travel Ireland shares our vision of growth, development, and the continued promotion of collegiate rugby at all levels. We look forward to working closely together to create unforgettable experiences for student athletes and contribute meaningfully to the game we all love.”

As the game of rugby continues to grow across the United States, especially at the collegiate level, the partnership opens new pathways for international exposure and competition. Rugby Travel Ireland will work directly with NCR programs to coordinate immersive tours abroad, while also supporting international teams traveling to the U.S. to compete.

Cathal O’Reilly, general manager at Rugby Travel Ireland, echoed the sentiment, “We are delighted to announce our partnership with National Collegiate Rugby as their official international travel partner. At Rugby Travel Ireland, we are passionate about creating unforgettable rugby experiences that go far beyond the pitch. This partnership is a significant step forward in supporting the growth of collegiate rugby – not just in the United States, but internationally."

He added, “Rugby has a unique ability to unite people and cultures, and we’re proud to play a role in helping teams connect, compete, and grow through travel.”

Together, NCR and Rugby Travel Ireland are setting the stage for a new era of opportunity, connection, and global rugby adventure.
